I went with cdbs and python-central. I just updated my branch to build
against upstream rev 311 instead of the 0.8.3 release. It only contains
the debian dir, but builddeb will automatically pull the upstream
source. Just run "bzr bd" (or "bzr bd -S" if you want a source package)
to build it.

Is there a better place for this to live rather than under my namespace?
Should we create a bzr-explorer packagers team or move it to bzr-
explorer-dev? Is their someone on the ~bzr team that would like to
handle uploads to ppa:bzr/ppa or should I apply for membership there?

I also see that you did some work in your branch outside of /debian to
get the .desktop file translated. I didn't address that with my work as
I was looking at it from a downstream packaging perspective. That's
certainly something that shouldn't get abandoned, and hopefully
committed upstream.

Also, I'm subscribing Debian/Ubuntu Bazaar Maintainers for some guidance
on moving forward with getting this into Debian.
