I have this problem on a 2005 laptop. USB 2.0 worked fine for several
years, but today I noticed it doesn't work in Karmic:

I also noticed, that the *_hcd drivers are no longer built as modules,
but are compiled directly in the kernel instead. I'm not sure, which
driver (ehci or ohci) was correct for this notebook.
