vic, in the upper-right hand corner of your screen, you should see your
volume control. If you right-click that icon, you can go to the "Volume
Control" (sometimes called "Sound Preferences"). This will bring you to
much more advanced control of your volume preferences.
If you are confused by the choices, please take a screenshot ("Print
Screen" button on your keyboard) of the program so that I can see which
version you are using. That way, I can guide you a bit.
