Same problem here, every time the sound is accessed.
Ivé tried removing and changing different packages as suggested in the forums,
nothing seem to fix this problem.
If i run amarok in the background, or a game, or any sound app, the loud
"bangs" won´t appear.
So i would suggest it´s because linux/kde turns off the sound card when
it´s not in use.
