So it seems that the Sony/Optiarc has some problems with the alternate version of the installer but if it's the case, then we need to know - what features of such players are incompatible with the alternate CD - and what part of the installer script triggers such error (leading the user with an unfinished installation process which is very bad and should be taken seriously)
