This is also affecting me in Karmic. The specific issue is that the 'Details' pull-down opens out at a fixed vertical size. If it just pulled down to the bottom of the visible screen, then it would cope with varying screen sizes, and could be scrolled through on smaller screens. A more intelligent logic would be to pull-down at a fixed size, unless this would take it off the screen, in which case it just resize to fit the screen vertically.
