I can understand why this is "correct" for the user, and in fact it's
probably correct anyway. I've removed it as a partial fix, and solved
the underlying dri/fb race as well - but this may still be a partial fix
- some people may end up with a failing to start X.
We'll fix that with the immiment move to devtmpfs (and a mountall upload
will patch it in the meantime)
