I don't know if my problem is related -- I've configured Evolution for
imap, and smtp to send mail. I find that if I send email soon after
connecting to my Red Hat linux email server, I don't have any problems.
But if I read email for a while, move to various imap folders, etc. --
then, send an email -- it remains stuck in the outbox. I have to exit
Evolution and restart it -- then, I reopen any of the N emails in the
outbox and resend, and they all go. (Note: This trick does not work
until I exit and restart.)

Sometimes I can't exit Evolution -- it hangs. Then I have to kill it
via the System Monitor.

I'm running Evolution 2.28.1 under ubuntu 9.10.
