I am not very experienced with Linux (Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron) so my
understanding is limited. But.... I have tried again and again to install Adobe
Flash Player (10.0.42.34) with no luck. I get a message saying that Flash is
already installed. YET... I cannot view flash content in Firefox (3.0.16). I
tried removing it and reinstalling using the deb installer. (repeatedly)
I don't know what to do. Why can't they make this stuff backwards compatible?
Every time a new version of Flash or anything Adobe comes out, it seems you
have to scramble to keep up with them. I wish web sites would stop using this
Adobe crap.
Does ANYONE have a clue as to what the next step is?? I certainly do NOT have a
clue as to how I should proceed.
