Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
When trying to select text in the PDF file "http://ciir.cs.umass.edu/pubfiles/ir-35.pdf", evince crashes. Using "edit>select all" also crashes it as well. It hogs the cpu using all available processor. Happens every time I try to perform the commands mentioned on this file. No problems with other PDFs though. I used a "report a problem" feature to submit details. My one is the kernel labeled "daedalus" I would paste the info from it here but I can not copy the text in the "content of the report" box. on 9.10 with version 2.28.1 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Dec 21 04:04:43 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evince InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release i386 (20091028.5) Package: evince 2.28.1-0ubuntu1.2 ProcAttrCurrent: /usr/bin/evince (enforce) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-16.53-generic SourcePackage: evince Uname: Linux 2.6.31-16-generic i686 ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- crash when trying to select text or click "select all" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/498936 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
