Alternatively you can change the read and write permissions for the specific user for the .adobe/Acrobat folder and keep the user-specific preferences for Adobe Reader that way. All you need to do is to open the directory with root rights (for example with sudo dolphin) and change the permissions in properties. cheers andrez
