** Summary changed: - manual ipv6 DNS servers only work for users but not for system + Manual ipv6 settings only work for users but not for system
** Description changed: Binary package hint: network-manager Using network-manager 0.8~a~git.20091013t193206.679d548-0ubuntu1 on the "IPv6 Settings" tab I set "Method" to "Automatic, addresses only" and set "DNS servers" manually. This works fine as long as the "Available to all users" checkbox is unmarked. As soon as I tick the box, the DNS servers are simply ignored and not even saved. If I re-edit the connection the DNS servers set previously have disappeared. + + When Method is set to Manual, these are the only ipv6-related lines + that get saved to corresponding /etc/NetworkManager/system- + connections/ConnectionName: + + [ipv6] + method=manual + ignore-auto-routes=false + ignore-auto-dns=false + never-default=false -- Manual ipv6 settings only work for users but not for system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/465841 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
