Another comment - while it very well may be Adobe bug, on my machine (Dell D620, Karmic) if I watch flash in Firefox it exits full screen on volume change but if I watch it in Chrome beta it does not. Chrome uses the same flash plugin as Firefox. I do not know for sure if Chrome uses GTK or QT (or even quite possibly it's own widgets). Just another "me too" with info I have not seen in this bug.
