Jeremy, the kernel that fixes this issue for karmic is still waiting in
karmic-proposed queue; once other fixes also included in that version
are verified not to introduce regressions, then it will get released to
karmic-updates (and launchpad should auto-close that task of this
bugreport at that time). Until then, it should remain fix-committed for
karmic. Thanks!
