I can confirm that this bug still exists in Kubuntu 9.10 KDE 4.4 with OpenOffice 3.1.1 from standard ubuntu archives. It only appears when I have a dark colorscheme in use. It affects Calc and Impress (displaying on screen is wrong, but on PDF generation it works as expected).
