There are only two paths that I see:
1. suspend-to-RAM/suspend-to-disk: pulse is not going to terminate. It
*isn't* supposed to terminate, either. It will, however, release the
sound devices after storing the active (consolekit) seat's mixer
settings.
2. reboot/shutdown: in either case, pulse will be sigtermed, so this
error doesn't make any sense.
