apport information

** Description changed:

My hda power-save never produced problems until the recent update of
  linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic-generic that installed ALSA 1.0.22.1

Now I have the cracking sound after a little more than 10 seconds of
  idle sound.

The cracking is not as strong as it is on other computers, but it is
  there.

I saw it is tagged "Fix released" on the dozens of similar bug reports,
but in my case it is the opposite: power-saving was always working fine
  until recently.

I apologize if there is a fix about this problem that is available
somewhere which also fixes the problem with these devices.

But with my standard Karmic install I still experience this problem.
