I got a similar (maybe same) error. I was playing around connecting and disconnecting the wired network (eth0) on a new laptop while running off the Ubuntu 10.04 Beta 1 Live CD prior to installing Ubuntu.
It looks like this is only a warning and seems reasonable given that I was playing around with the networking (trying to turn off the wireless connection and switch to wired and fighting with Network Manager -- grumble, grumble). The system had prepared a crash report, but I didn't see a crash (no kernel panic). I don't know if this prepared information will be attached to this comment automatically? If not, it will no doubt be lost when I install and reboot (running now off of CD). -- WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.32/net/sched/sch_generic.c:261 dev_watchdog+0x1fe/0x210() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/533697 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
