Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gedit

I was viewing firefox's prefs.js file in gedit. When I tried scrolling
up and down gedit froze, I tried this over and over and everytime gedit
freezes indefinitely (at least a minute).

I suspect this being a plugin-related issue.
