On my HP Pavillion zv6149, I noticed that when I manually set 'suspend' (when closing the lid) in the Power Management settings, it works once when I close the lid. The system also resumes when I then open the lid. It doesn't work anymore when I close the lid for a second time. Only suspending the system from the menu works then. However, as soon as I change the setting to 'no action' and then back to 'suspend', it works again, but again only once.
Suspending from the menu always works, so this is definitely a 'detect-close-lid-and-take-proper-action'-thing. -- suspend when closing laptop lid doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/44058 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
