Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Hi All,

I came across this issue while use OOo 3.1.1, OOO310M19 (Build 9420).
So far, the issue occurs when I use the function for the chi-square
distribution (=chisqdist). When I save the spreadsheet then open it up
later the cell calling for that func now has the string '%MACRO' in it.
Sometimes I can only clear the issue by deleting the cell and starting
over other times I can clear the error by deleting the the equal sign
and retyping it.

I went to OOo and put this issue into their bug reporting system and got
a message back saying that my OOo (build 9420) is fine 'it must be your
Ubuntu' causing the problem. So here I am.

I am attaching the email I got from OOo.
HTH
Matt

Hi Matt,

you have written to my personal email address. Please add your comment
to the issue.

Your problem is likely a bug in the Ubuntu version. Please report the
problem to Ubuntu. I have not heard from others using ODF1.2, that there
are problems with this function.

kind regards
Regina
