+ check-new-release crashed with ImportError in <module>(): logging

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: update-manager

This happened on booting from a Lucid Alpha 3 LiveUSB onto a new
computer. I had to alt-F2, alt-F7 to show the desktop. While reporting
this bug in firefox it crashed and dropped me to the login screen, but
this was still the only report in /var/crash.
