No I don't why do I have to  get a separate one? I got the same card. As I said 
there might only one solution for me  - to completely remove the failing sound 
system. I am informed about the problems it will incur, I had ekiga hang-up on 
me, but it was no useless as it is without a working mic.... So looking forward 
to this
