Hope this data point helps: 1. Fan control worked fine with Karmic-9.10---2.6.31-20 after a suspend/resume cycle.
2. It quit working with upgrade to Lucid-10.04---2.6.32-21 & 2.6.32-22. 3. When I boot Lucid (10.04) using the left-over 2.6.31-20 kernel, fan control works again, i.e., the fan slows down after resume. 4. This could be due to the kernel itself, or to the lack of loading certain items that won't load with the older kernel. -- Laptop Fan always on after resume from suspend to RAM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/77370 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
