Public bug reported:
on my notebook with Ati X700 mobility and LCD 1280x800 the system load but with
a blank screen.
To resolve problem i must log in in text mode and:
1) pkill kdm
2) Edit xorg.conf and add:
in section "Monitor" Option "MonitorLayout" "LVDS,AUTO"
in resolution add "1280x800"
3) start kdm
After my notebook is ok and i can also do install without problem
