Hi, Thank you very, very much! The reason this is a big problem for me is that I sell real estate, and all of the brochures I print out are printed from our website. And thank you for confirming the bug! I'm sure you are right about this being the same as the debian bug. I don't know if this affects other printers besides HP or not.
This issue never showed up until Ubuntu 10.04. I've been using Ubuntu for about 14 months now, and am 95% away from Windows. I've installed it on about 20 computers for various people. I started with 8.10 about a month before 9.04. Then I upgraded to 9.04, 9.10, and now 10.04. I've learned a lot, but still I have much, much more to learn. Almost all of these systems are running HP printers. May I ask a question?
