There was a post on the forums about a user who is unable to stop publishing files. So I tested this again and am still not able to stop publishing a file. r-click 'Stop Publishing on Ubuntu One' and i can still access the file via the url. . The r-click menu does go back to displaying the option 'Publish via Ubuntu One'
