3.5 would still be beneficial in the repositories regardless of 3.6 for developers whilst the kinks are worked out on 3.6 ....
For example see http://developer.android.com/sdk/eclipse-adt.html where ADT is not yet working on 3.6 and google advise devs to remain on 3.5 for the time being.... IMHO the next release (11.04) would be better than 10.10 for eclipse 3.6 ... or an alternative package later on. Sorting out the issue with libhamcrest-java (testng in universe and not main but a build dependency exists for libhamcrest-java on testng) would be more beneficial as that would get eclipse 3.5 sorted on Maverick now... probably better than a major version change now we are in feature freeze. -- [maverick] Package "eclipse" has broken dependencies. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/603656 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
