It looks like you may have gotten a corrupt installation somehow...
lsb_release crashed when trying to add data to this report. Please
attach the information described at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/DebuggingSoundProblems when you're in
the working liveCD environment and the nonworking hard drive
installation, clearly labeled as such.
