I agree; why should I have to go through Evolution's totally annoying setup to get rid of its icon? I should just be able to hide an icon by right clicking in the indicator-applet area. I can't just remove Evolution either as Synaptic then asks me to uninstall GNOME, Xorg, etc (but that is something completely different...)
