Well, that seemed to take care of the problem. I have no idea how that got there either. Guess I'll have to search through my installation logs and tool compiles and see what's up. I'm a little surprised that the apt/ld would mistake a .py for a .so. Oh well... I'll claim right now that this issue should be Resolved.
