Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
With Compiz++ compiled from git with the build_compiz++ script, animations are very jerky with sync-to-vblank enabled on Intel hardware. With sync-to-vblank disabled, animations get even jerkier, and there are artifacts from Firefox 4.0's tabs when switching tabs. Specifically, when you click on an inactive tab, the tab still looks like it's being hovered upon, rather than active. The previously active, but now inactive tab looks like it is still active until you move your mouse over it, whereby it switches to its inactive state. None of these issues appear with Compiz 0.8.6 ** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Sam "SmSpillaz" Spilsbury (smspillaz) Status: New ** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Sam "SmSpillaz" Spilsbury (smspillaz) -- [compiz++] Poor performance https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/671280 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
