Looks like the problem was that my partition was full. I had to remove some of the packages and was able to complete. If someone can confirm this, I guess this bug can be closed. But now I have a new problem: After booting, I get this message: /usr/lib/gconf2-4/gconf-sanity-check-2 gives an error of 32512. I had to remove gconf2 and gconf2-common. Its not a real problem as I use KDE and it seems to have no issues. Should I raise a ew bug for this?
