On my 10.10 I have it quite on every cold boot that network manager keeps me offline. After the latest updates I noticed an error I was not aware before - displayed on the text console:
Dec 10 00:57:09 wildi-torres kernel: [ 28.125058] iwlagn 0000:0c:00.0: Error sending REPLY_RXON: time out after 500ms. Dec 10 00:57:09 wildi-torres kernel: [ 28.125062] iwlagn 0000:0c:00.0: Error setting new RXON (-110) Attached you find the syslog-offline and dmesg-offline from startup until login when I am kept being offline. The other two are the same logfiles continued with re-connection attempt which connected me successfully. I wonder why you think that it is a driver issue, when it worked from 9.04 until 10.04. I don't think, the working driver has been changed that much. ** Attachment added: "logfiles-offline-and-reconnect.tar.gz" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/662255/+attachment/1762851/+files/logfiles-offline-and-reconnect.tar.gz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/662255 Title: Re-Connection problem WLAN/mobile -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
