This fix does not appear to work in Natty. The line has been changed to:
ENV{DMI_VENDOR}=="[sS][aA][mM][sS][uU][nN][gG]*",
RUN+="keyboard-force-release.sh $devpath samsung-other"
by default which should have the same effect to your changes.
I managed to fix this by adding the lines:
setkeycodes e008 225
setkeycodes e009 224
to /etc/rc.local
