Here are OpenAFS 1.6.0pre2 packages that work on natty: https://launchpad.net/~openafs/+archive/master
I think 1.6.0 is what we’ll want in natty. I’ve been using the 1.5.x/1.6.x series on my laptop for almost a year (except for the last month where it didn’t compile with kernel 2.6.38), and it’s worked well enough for me. It also gets much more active attention from upstream. I don’t know if kernel 2.6.38 support will end up in the 1.4.x branch at all. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/675768 Title: openafs does not build with natty kernel 2.6.37, 2.6.38 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
