Yes, for me it's a great idea. Of course some apps have to add this "gtk_window_set_has_resize_grip()" function but this 'grip' can look a bit ugly for some other apps (I guess this grip depends of the GTK theme but it's new and maybe it can look ugly with a lot of old theme)
