Hello Ajenbo, the little blue triangle is an indicator that shows when an application is requesting user attention (for instance, a dialogue pops up).
The blue indicator triangle was added in 3.8.6-0ubuntu1 (bug #755286) and replaces a previous solution in which the Ubuntu (the BFB or Big Friendly Button) itself turned blue (LP: #744973). This change was made following user-testing which showed that although people notice a blue mail icon, people don't notice a blue icon. The blue triangle is noticed (as you have noticed) but perhaps the connection/meaning is not immediately obvious. The triangle is in the corner, and indicates the direction/place that the user needs to move the cursor in order to reveal the auto-hidden Launcher. ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/769432 Title: Blue triangle in uppper left cornor -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
