This is not true, if you look at the install files and the script you
will see that I updated all of the drivers from 2.80 to 3.00 and I
updated the cups-bjnp to 0.5.5, I also changed the libcupsys2 dummy
package so that the drivers can be installed and use the newer libcups2.
These updates cure the errors that you are having. The driver can be
installed but the driver depends on the libcupsys2 package and that
package has been depreciated that is why I have placed the dummy package
in the install.

Secondly if you install the packages in the order described in the
install script you should have the ability to print once again.

I have found that users that are migrating to Ubutnu 11.04 are having
broken packages after install. To correct these try using "dpkg
--configure -a" a broken package could be prohibiting you from
installing the necessary drivers.

I have had other users and testers report that the install is working
for them in both ubuntu 11.04 64x and x86 so I know it works.

If none of these suggestions work for you post terminal output and I
would love to help out.
