@gerti:try to edit the mime types : gedit ~/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list and change vlc or totem or whatever program opens instead of nautilus by nautilus : [Added Associations] inode/directory=nautilus-folder-handler.desktop;mirage.desktop;
