I have the same problem, except that I couldn't make it work by retrying. It opens correctly in Totem, though. You can reproduce it by opening the file "groovesalad.pls" automatically downloaded by going there: http://somafm.com/play/groovesalad. I have attached the logs while opening `banshee --debug`, trying to open the "groovesalad" playlist several times, and re-adding the playlist.
