Good Day...The slow Network [ISP] connection seems to have improved since I did
two (2) complete clean installations of 7.04.
The slow bootup situation remains the same.
BTW, 6.04 and 6.10 on this same PC and same HDD booted up fairly and acceptably
fast.../rgc
