The other bug (Bug #792106) is still in the "waiting queue" for getting the stack traced retraced. This is needed to get an insight on what causes the bug (at the first sight, it is not a problem in simple-scan but in the scanner driver) and whether it is maybe a duplicate of an already known bug.
