Is there a known workaround for this bug until the patch is released in
updates?

I'm getting a kernel panic after between 2 and 5 minutes every time I
try to use Ubuntu, stating the same assertion and line in wlc_ampdu.c,
so being able to apply some sort of temporary fix would help greatly.
