Could you please make sure apport is enabled and update to the latest version of the debug packages by following the "basic backtrace" directions outlined here:

Crashes are definitely worth fixing). If, after updating, you only have playback problems but not crashes, please attached a frontend log with verbose logging (-v playback) to this ticket and re-open.
