I've made the current fix available for natty and oneiric in ppa:vanvugt/unity:
https://launchpad.net/~vanvugt/+archive/unity The natty version has been well tested on a Macbook Air. The oneiric version isn't yet tested. Please try it and let me know how it goes for you, along with the details of what machine/touchpad you are using and your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file. Hopefully we can iron out the kinks soon (which have only been reported for a Dell so far)... ** Changed in: unity Status: Opinion => In Progress ** Changed in: unity Assignee: (unassigned) => Daniel van Vugt (vanvugt) ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Status: Opinion => In Progress ** Changed in: unity (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Daniel van Vugt (vanvugt) ** Changed in: mactel-support Status: Invalid => Confirmed ** Changed in: utouch Status: Invalid => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/754000 Title: Running Unity disables Xorg's 3-finger click support (middle click) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mactel-support/+bug/754000/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
