I created a script like: fixbacklight.sh which had the command to set backlight to a certain amount using xbacklight. Then I created a custom keyboard shortcut which ran this script. I am sure if you dig a little bit you can find some file which gets run each time you login.
I just login and press the key combination I have assigned to the script to fix the backlight. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/875831 Title: No backlight when resuming from screensaver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-screensaver/+bug/875831/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
