Public bug reported:

When updating grub with update-grub, would it possible to show the
current GRUB_DEFAULT=0 with something like this:

Generating grub.cfg ...
Found linux image (default): /boot/vmlinuz-3.0.0-13-generic

Or

Generating grub.cfg ...
Found linux image: /boot/vmlinuz-3.0.0-13-generic (default)

This will save us time if for example we put the wrong number for
GRUB_DEFAULT and then restarted only to find out it was +1 or -1. Very
useful for dual boot configuration :)

Thanks!
