I just wanted to make a note that I never used Banshee in my life (for music I use Audacity), so it has nothing directly to do with the bug. I think it was happening without the menu running, but I can't guarantee it. I'll turn it off a I've been using Activities and Cairo almost exclusively. Note on Cairo: I initially reported a duplicate bug way before installing it, so it's a non-factor.
