Checking for new updates via synaptic, i get some new kernel packages: like "linux-headers-generic-pae" So i suppose that the previous false error was related to that missing one, even if the installation have been made with the required 2 headers + image.
So either that error should not exist because of that unique missing package and should point to the real headers not that meta-package, or if there is some bad consequencies then the whole kernel installation should wait for the complete list of packages before doing it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/929412 Title: kernel installation wrongly warn about missing headers To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/929412/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
